Sssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh

I have a 9 wood now. Don't laugh, well too much anyway. I may in fact be one of the few people on the planet now with a 9 wood and a 1 iron in the bag. A blade 1 iron no less. It make's absolutely no sense I know, but who care's. It works.

A 9-wood and a 1-iron? Almost sounds like a head-fake to me. Like a lure for innocent gamblers to take the bait while you empty their wallets.

That also reminds me of a great quote...I want to say it's from Trevino, but I could be wrong: "Never trust a man with a deep dark tan, a squint in his eye, and a 1-iron in his bag."

And it's a FORGED 1-iron no less. If you can hit that solid even twice out of 10 attempts, you'd be my new hero.

Tell me about. It's gives me the shits. Heading to summer down here I ditched the 9 wood for another wedge. The iron I can do no wrong with. Might hit it ass prob once every 6 shots. Normally high on the face. Yet I can't get a 7 iron onto a green. Driving me insane.

Well, the answer is simple: while others lay up to that cushy 90-100 yard mark on the par 5s, just make sure you leave yourself what...220? 230? And you'll be golden.

That'd be hilarious to try. On a 370 yard par-4, hit a wedge off of the tee to set yourself up for that perfect shot right out of your wheelhouse with a forged 1-iron. Holy crap. I can't even say that without feeling like I'm insulting one or all of the golf gods.
